Always a good experience.
Absolutely horrible staff and Dr Azzam. After being seen one time, an mri was ordered to which an impingement reading came back. When asked to move the injection location, the staff said they would not accommodate and I needed to come in for a whole new consult. I asked to speak to the office manager to which she continue to repeat it was “office policy” and they would have to cancel my previous injection, reschedule another consult. Dr. Azzam is great and treats pain with procedures for long lasting results!
I have had this doctor on multiple occasions in the hospital and outside of the hospital but this last time was the absolute worst. I was complaining of severe pain and following the recommended pain management in the hospital. The nurse started calling and paging his pain team at around 8am in the morning. According to the nurses they never received a call back, all the while still taking pain medications that are available on mar and doing all that I could do (with meds and without meds) to get the pain under control. He never showed any concern about my condition or my pain. He had an X-ray of my hip and treated me for months with no relief. I even had to be wheeled back in a wheelchair. When I finally decided that was enough and said I was going to my orthopedic surgeon for an xray. Azzam wanted to do an X-ray there. HE HAD AN XRAY WHEN I CAME TO HIM because I was referred by my spine surgeon. I went to my orthopedic surgeon and he asked me with just a short exam, "What took you so long?".
