When I first started here I was very pleased with the Dr.'s and staff. Overtime that satisfaction slowly went away, due to the turn over in doctors. Everytime I was scheduled to see the actual doctor instead of the PA, I had to see a new one because the last one left the practice. Even with the PA's, there were changes. Then I got stuck with Dawn... Probably the most insubordinate and rude PA I've ever met! My last appt I felt belittled. I felt my pain was not taken seriously. They push epidural procedures but they're done in Austin and that's a long drive for me after driving 45mins to my appt already. I also told them I can't afford the procedure at this time. I had 3 Dr appts in a month because they weren't getting my pain meds right when called into the pharmacy causing me to have to drive 45 mins each way and pay extra for my prescriptions and Co pays.. let alone they drug tested me every visit and charged me for that too!... read more
Today I had a bad day. I took two medicines together that should not be taken together. I ended up taking too much diuretics. I felt funny when I went with my wife to her pain management appointment. To the folks at Advanced Pain Care I am sorry for getting confused and getting grumpy and shouting untrue things at the appointment. My wife never hit or hurt me I was having a low fluid event.
