I had a very positive experience with my hernia surgery. Dr. Nakhjo walked me through each step AND let me know what to expect. The surgery went well, the scare is not bad and while i was told 4 to 6 weeks before starting any exercise or lifting, i was able to do so in just after 3 weeks!

Let me begin by saying how phenomenal Dr. Nakhjo and his entire staff are! I drove from Syracuse, NY for the surgery, because I had done my research and wanted the Shouldice method. Most doctors wouldn’t even discuss repairing a hernia without mesh, and I knew I wanted to avoid mesh at all costs.
