I have had an amazing experience with AKD. The organization is professional, creative and true to their word. My kitchen is over the top beautiful and every person from AKD has been exceptional. I read the negative review by Cynthia West. I was appalled that she put buyers beware.....what I know about the experience with this client, I would say CONTRACTORS beware of working with this customer; she is the example of impossible client that doesn't know what she wants or understand what to expect and takes her personal problem... read more
AKD is the epitome of doing business right! Every contact, every suggestion, every service was professional, efficient and of the utmost quality. I would give them 10 stars if it was available!
The engagement started out great with an incredible design for our kitchen remodel. It went downhill from there. The installer was difficult to work with and was extremely rude to the other contractors on my builders team. They finished 80% of the job and it took over four months for them to finish the final 20%. The disappointing part of the engagement was the fact that AKD did not execute on the design elements that we agreed upon and I paid for. In the end they refused to fix the issues.
