The PA did a great job, but their office charges a $25 fee for referrals if you have an HMO plan. After researching on that this practice. i find guidelines that state providers are paid for administrative tasks, such as referrals, by the insurance. They may be getting away through a loophole. But this practice is ridiculous . Go ahead and charge me for scheduling my appointment while you are it!
