Dr. Gohara was great with our teens! Kids have had a number of issues over the years.. some serious, some not. We were able to be seen in a timely fashion, issues were all dealt with in a similar professional manner with clear treatment plans. Dr. Gohara always took the time to put us at ease, took an interest in the whole patient and ensured that we had good follow up plans. Perfect balance of efficient yet compassionate care!
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Gohara. She is excellent at not only treating her patients, but also at ensuring her patients understand their skin and how to take care of it. She is attentive, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and very patient. She is very thorough and always takes care to make sure her patients are comfortable and cared for. She has incredible bedside manner, and she always puts her patients first.
Dr. Gohara is the embodiment of an exemplary physician. What truly makes her stand out is that she is not only fully up to date with the latest research and standards of care but is widely recognized at the national level as a thought leader in dermatology. It is rare indeed to find someone who combines technical expertise with genuine kindness and empathy. We are so lucky to have access to such a star in the field. Dr. Gohara is a true leader who sets the bar for excellence in dermatologic care.
Dr. Gohara seems like a good doctor, but to wait 8 months for an appointment, then have it cancelled because the doctor will be out of the office, and have to wait another 8 months for an appointment, seems like medical mismanagement. While other doctors in the practice were offered, it seems reasonable to want to stay with one doctor who will get to know you and your body. I will find another practice.
I have been to Dr. Gohara twice since my former dermatologist retired from the practice. She was friendly, and I felt comfortable with her, more so on my second visit, which is important to me at my age. I'm pleased she is my new physician.
