I’m giving 2 stars because the experience left a weird feeling. My friend was originally supposed to see Dr. Martha, but they switched her to Maria last minute. Thankfully that worked out better because Maria was who she wanted anyway, but afterward we overheard an assistant say that Martha “doesn’t want to take certain people,” which honestly sounded very unprofessional and uncomfortable to hear as patients. It made the environment feel unwelcoming, and that shouldn’t happen at a doctor’s office.
Dr Baranzani is a wonderful, professional and competent physician. I have had my share of basal cell skin cancer...(I have had MOHS 3x,too that were performed by Asa Leftkowitz, MD who also is a wonderful skilled surgeon) A few months ago, I developed a cancerous lesion IN my ear(recurring spot where I had had MOHS 2x already). Dr. Baranzani made the decision after a positive biopsy result on my ear, not to go the MOHS route but instead had me use a topical medicine inside my ear for 8 weeks.
