I had an appointment at the Alexandria office on January 19, 2026 for a cyst on my face. I received antibiotics and was told to schedule an appointment for the removal in a month. I went to the Ft. Washington location today (February 20, 2026), for this follow-up. First let me say, I called the office and left a message on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 and it is Friday and I still do not have a call back. I had an appointment and when I got there they told me the doctor was over 1 1/2 hour behind. Mind you my appointment was at 10:00am, how are you that far behind that early in the morning? I took off work and used my leave to drive up there for them to tell me of the wait time. Why not have called me and other patients ahead of time to let us know of the delay. I arrived for my appointment and the waiting room was filled with patients who had been waiting hours for appointments with the doctor I was there to see. The ONLY doctor on staff. There were no updates or apologies, just “she’s running behind”. Three of us had to reschedule. It’s disrespectful to people who take time off of their work to travel to an appointment and have a medical concern to be kept waiting hours and left with no option but reschedule and do it all over again.
Very, very poor functioning of a doctors office. They are very hard to get in contact with over the phone. When they call you they don't leave messages or update on your chart why the last person in the office called you so therefore you're being sent in circles back and forth for them to figure out why you were called.
