American health care is broken. I feel like my time was never respected, the doctor was incredibly late to both of my appointments, and my surgery was rescheduled creating more financial strain than I needed (I missed twice the amount of work than I planned because of the rescheduling.) It was over $900 at the door before I could get my surgery (more than the amount I missed out on at work because of the rescheduling), $1500 for office visits, nearly $3000 Post op charges, as well as other bills. Dr. Hollister performed two surgeries on me and is a wonderful surgeon. His kind and compassionate bedside manner is awesome! He never makes me feel rushed and his sense of humor relaxes me with otherwise humbling issues. He is just so caring and will do everything he can to help you. I would highly reccomend him.
Dr. Hollister is a great and helpful doctor once you finally get to see him. Wait times can exceed 45 minutes for a scheduled appointment. As a self pay client, I expected more price transparency. They say you must pay upfront in full which I was fine with. I then received another bill for the treatment itself . After they told me the initial payment was just for the office visit and the treatment was separate. Self payers be warned. Not a lot of financial transparency at this office.
Absolutely best doctor. Kind, empathetic, and a great surgeon. Solved my problem and explained every step needed along the way. Would highly recommend.
Dr. Hollister preformed my surgery a few weeks ago. He took excellent care of me during my procedure and after. I am so very thankful for a caring surgeon with an awesome bedside manner. I can't say enough good things about him. My awesome GI doctor, Dr. Shah referred me to his clinic and I am so grateful she did.
