It absolutely does not get any better than Dr. Hollister. I was a very high risk patient to begin with and he calmed my fears and concerns, and I had full faith in him moving forward. Performed the surgery with not much to work with that other surgeons didn’t even want to attempt. He quite literally saved my life when my hemoglobin dropped to 4 in recovery. He is so patient, kind and above all knowledgeable. I owe my life to this man and am reminded of him everyday. Thank you Dr. Hollister
Dr. Hollister was such a pleasant doctor. He listened to my concerns made me feel very comfortable and the consultation was professional and patient oriented. I appreciate his honesty & warm spirit.
I would NOT RECOMMEND Advanced Colorectal Clinic. I had a Pilonidal cyst excision that never healed. I followed protocol perfectly. I told Dr. Aston multiple times I was concerned all to be told over and over again it would just heal with time. Then at my last check up (3 months) I was told by the doctor that he was “bummed” that the surgery didn’t work, and I would need schedule another . I wasted over $6000 and currently finding another Dr. to get it done right.
American health care is broken. I feel like my time was never respected, the doctor was incredibly late to both of my appointments, and my surgery was rescheduled creating more financial strain than I needed (I missed twice the amount of work than I planned because of the rescheduling.) It was over $900 at the door before I could get my surgery (more than the amount I missed out on at work because of the rescheduling), $1500 for office visits, nearly $3000 Post op charges, as well as other bills. Dr. Hollister performed two surgeries on me and is a wonderful surgeon. His kind and compassionate bedside manner is awesome! He never makes me feel rushed and his sense of humor relaxes me with otherwise humbling issues. He is just so caring and will do everything he can to help you. I would highly reccomend him.
