I have a Rocket Appartamento that’s about 5 years old. Switch died, Michael took it apart and replaced the wiring in it, replaced the switch and now it runs like a champ. It was ~$300 which is pretty good for a ~$2,000 machine that I’ve spent $0.00 on for maintenance until this week. Richmond is lucky to have these guys. The alternative would have been me mailing this 80 lbs machine to Seattle for who knows how long and would have paid that much just in shipping.

My eleven year old Rocket quit working. Thought about replacing it but decided to get it repaired. Advance did the repairs which turn out to be multiple things replaced. They even delivered it back to my house in Charlottesville, set it up and tested it to make sure all was well. The cost was about 1/4 of what a new machine would cost. Highly recommend.

This was the only place I could find that would be able to provide me a portafilter last minute and they were fantastic. I accidentally went to their old address and couldn’t make it to the new one before closing, but the owner offered to stick around for 20 minutes to make sure I was able to get the item I had them holding. I wouldn’t ever expect that out of any business, but it was such a nice act and whatever coffee supplies I need, I’m definitely calling them up first.
