DO NOT USE! Aggressive and unethical business practices. Salesperson called to schedule my chimney cleaning while insinuating that it was required and that I had requested this service. I don't even have a chimney! When I called to complain, I was begged not to write a negative review and told "one bad experience doesn't warrant a negative review". This place is one small step above IRS scammers. Use a reputable service.

Advanced Chimney, Inc came in to do work on my chimney & flue system in 2014. I've had several inspections since that time and have been advised they installed inadequate sized pipes to properly draft fumes etc from my oil and gas burners. I have called the listed numbers multiple times. Receptionist keeps saying they " purchased" the telephone number but are not associated with Advanced Chimney, Inc. and that she knows nothing about the company. On June 13 they called an cancelled my appointment for the 14. New appointment made for june19 at 8:00 a.m. Never called. I called at 8:30 they said they couldn't make it. Made new appointment for afternoon of same day. Stayed home for afternoon appointment at 2:30 called and said they couldn't make it. Very unreliable with appointments. Very upset had to cancel many appointments for no work.

My husband and I purchased our home in May of 2017. On May 31, 2017 we had Advanced Chimney come to look at our fireplace, as upon our first use, the smoke wasn’t venting out into the chimney properly and we figured we needed it cleaned. They told us that in fact, what we needed was a new damper, which we agreed to do. They damaged my brand new wood burning fire place during the first cleaning. They broke the baffle during the cleaning. The technician should have removed the baffle before beginning the cleaning according to the manager at store where I bought the stove. During the repair they broke off a head of a bolt on my stove. And one of the bricks.

Missed 3 appointments. Neighbor recommended Advanced Chimney. 11/13 made appointment to clean chimney for 11/24 between 10 and 2. About noon they called and said they were running late and could be there between 3 and 5 or could reschedule. I had evening plans and opted to reschedule. The next mutually agreeable date was 12/8 between 9 and 12. At 11:45 they called to say they were running late and would be there between 12 and 3.
