Long wait . Time with Dr. Elsakr was great. After care visit notes indicated CAD with a transplanted heart which I don’t have ! Telephone call to try to correct was frustrating and difficult.
While I do believe that Dr. Elsakr is one of the best cardiologists around, and I would give him a 5 star rating if I was only rating him as a doctor, this is a rating of the negative effects of the transition to AdventHealth. There has been so much confusion, not able to call the office staff directly, no call call backs in a timely fashion, repeated cancelled appointments, etc., etc. The last time I saw Dr. Elsakr was when I was in the hospital one year ago. The receptionist didn't seem to know what she was doing. Didn't even know streets around the area. All and all, since they moved to advent health appointments and commacatation is very confusing.
