I wanted to get a baseline assessment of my bone strength and structure. Since I have no strong predispositions to osteoporosis, I chose to have my bone scan done privately in order to get it done sooner rather than later. The cost is reasonable, and the process is non-invasive; took less than 1/2 hour including the review and explanation of the results. “Following breast cancer, a mastectomy and prescribed Letrozole treatment for 5 yrs, I wanted a bone density test.
