I give it a no start I was forced to click on a star. If I didn't it wouldn't allow me to post this. My experience was not what I was looking for. On my first visit, it's seems like they have your initial contact person do most of the work. Not really sure if they are a nurse? I know they were not the Dr. I then rcv'd a short visit from the PA. We took our 9 month old son there for testing and it was not a good experience at all. Dr. Askenazi did not sit down once with us in the room and nothing was explained to us in regard to all of the positive findings. We got a second opinion and we found out they didn't do the pediatric testing on him, so he was put through a lot more pain than he should have been. Definitely would not recommend for pediatrics.
Have been going to advanced allergy & asthma associates for more than 2yrs now have always been happy and satisfied with the experience of our appointments with the doctors and staff as well. No other place I'd rather go. There staff is great and always answering any questions or concerns.
I have been going here for a little over a year now. I really do like the doctors as they have listened to all of my concerns and got me on the medication that I need. But as far as the office goes, this place is terrible. You never wait for shorter than 15 minutes when you arrive for your appointment, even though I have to call 30 minutes before every single appointment to let them know that I am on my way. We brought our 7-month-old daughter in for allergy testing and the staff was wonderful with her. They were patient with us and thoroughly explained the process and next steps. Everyone was very attentive and put us at ease despite the stress of allergy testing on a baby. Would recommend!
