Like others have said, very helpful and accommodating, and they are not out to gouge you. Very fair, good service, good work.
New to the area, I got some referrals from PNW locals for Advanced, and took my Mooney there for an annual. The owner always returned calls, and communicated well through the process. Not everything went as planned, as is common with some annuals, but they always communicated, and I felt I was always dealing with competent and honest A&P's. No problems found since taking the plane home, and I plan on returning next year.
I regularly fly two aircraft that are maintained at advanced. The work they do is consistent and correct. Every time we get an airplane back from maintenance it flies a little bit better than before it went in. I feel safe flying any aircraft that they have worked on.
Advanced Aircraft in Troutdale has been nothing but helpful and accommodating to our needs when they come up. Ed and Greg are great guys and do great work.
I was extremely dissatisfied with this business. The tires on my airplane were overinflated - the proper rating was 24 psi and they were inflated to 42. I was charged for this and the work signed off in my aircraft log. Upon bringing this matter to the attention of the owners I was met with nothing but antagonist anger....
