I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Advance Ready Mix was frustrating enough that it needs to be said. Communication is practically nonexistent and their customer service is extremely disappointing. If you’re a homeowner without an established account, expect to be put at the very bottom of their priority list. The drivers of the concrete trucks were pouring concrete at Stacy Springs Subdivision in Charlestown, Indiana on 5/2/24. I was there helping a friend move. When I tried to go down the only street you could exit the subdivision on, they were blocking the only road out. I told them I didn’t live nearby and needed to get through. I was told it would take too long to break the equipment down and that I would have to wait. I'm a small business owner, we have an account with advance ready mix. We ordered some concrete for a customer, when the truck arrived the driver got off the truck and headed to the job site and started walking on it like kinda measuring with each step then told one of my employees that the amount ordered wasn't gonna be enough for the job.
