Predatory mailing to elderly people making it seem like they are the current mortgage company and that the letter requires a response. They then call up this company and reps try to convince them to refinance their mortgages. Some have current mortgages with rates around 3% and they try to manipulate them into longer terms with higher interest rates, but the monthly payments are lower so people get confused.
