It seems to be only customers who do not understand the system who are leaving terrible reviews. This is a very very helpful company, but they have to follow doctor and insurance rules. I found them to be pleasant, helpful, and very accommodating.
The company claims to be here to help you but refuses to resupply my equipment without a doctor’s signature. The equipment they’ve been sending me for 5 years. The staff seems welcoming and friendly over the phone but aren’t willing to express how to handle the problem and come to a solution. I have tried to use Advacare over the last 3 years and always had problems with them. First, they set you up for automatic resupply and then bill insurance for material that never ships. Then if you know this practice and try to bring them a new prescription but refuse automatic refills they will refuse service. At this point (and yes, with these gas prices) it is still cheaper to drive an additional 10 miles to another DME provider instead of using this company in Beaver County.
I went to Advacare in Beaver Wed.June 19th, 2024 with 10 pages including a prescription plus order for a cpap machine from my Doctors office. As my cpap machine after 16 yrs no longer works. I handed it to them(two women)and they said very nasty the Doctors office is suppose to fax this to us not send you in here with it. It only got worse from there.
