We are now in the Age of Information Overload where not only is the patient overwhelmed by the medical information and scheduling for "modern medicine" but the doctor and his/her staff is also overwhelmed. However, there are now so many competing services for doctor/patient time management that an accurate or useful critique is beyond my expertise.
We used Doctor Connect’s services and completed our contract. When we attempted to end the agreement, we learned that the contract requires written notice of non-renewal 90 days prior to the end of the term. This provision appears in very small print within the contract and was not otherwise highlighted or proactively communicated, and we did not receive any reminder that the renewal deadline was approaching. We are an ADD/ADHD Treatment Center and DoctorConnect has made it a lot easier for us to communicate with our patients. The text feature is utilized often with our patients whether it's confirming/cancelling/rescheduling appointments or if patient's need to contact us for their medical needs.
