ADT is a terrible company. Their equipment is cheap, and their customer service is awful. Don't sign a contract with them. The equipment breaks easily or doesn't work correctly.
We transferred our ADT service as we had moved. Our salesperson was very knowledgeable; however, the price he quoted us was $799.00, and once the system was installed, we were charged $2200.00!!! We have been trying to get this corrected for weeks and now the salesperson has left the company. There is no direct dial number provided to the local office-its a HUGE mess!
The absolute worst customer experience I’ve ever had in my life. The return window is only 3 days, which isn’t even enough time to properly test a product. I spent over $3,000 with them, and when one of my products started showing an error, they wanted to charge me just to come back and look at it. I asked them to just cancel in general and that came with so many fees. The customer support line doesn’t answer or leaves you on hold indefinitely. This company is crazy. I'm too exhausted by their bs to go into it but trust me, find someone else.
I’ve been a long time customer of ADT. Not too long ago I also had cameras installed. Late last year one camera went out. They have been sending technicians to repair it since January 2025!!! We’ve had at least 12 appointments! One technician has been to my house several times and says that his boss, Chris Graham is very aware of my situation and he has discussed it with him several times.
