Massive scam of a company. Absolutely do NOT use them. They lie about contracts. They lie about service. They just lie. They don't care if systems work or not. Avoid at all costs.
Scam artists and liars. Lied about how dangerous Maricopa city is, knowing I’m not from here and didn’t know better. Maricopa is actually considered one of the safest cities in the country. I was also never told that I needed internet for me to access the cameras. I do not ever get internet but now I’m being forced to incur yet another bill for something that I absolutely don’t want. Switched from a basic Brinks system ($24.00 per month) to obtain a video dorbell and camera system. Called rep. and arranged a tech to install new equipment with a 3 year contract. Tech showd up, removed all old equipment THEN told us our internet would not support a doorbell and video camera system, and the contract was for 5 years, not 3. We authorized the instal of the basic system and now have a bill for $54.00 per month. We got played by them and do not recommend ADT at all. Absolutely awful company. Got sucked into a 5 year contract that was initially supposed to be 3. Now I am moving and they want me to pay an additional $500 for new equipement because they refuse to remove the equipment from my current house, equipment that doesnt even fully work and hasn't in 2 years. That or pay $2,000 to cancel the contract. I will never use ADT again or reccomend them to anyone ever. Do NOT use ADT.
ADT in general is a shady company. My dad actually had to file a Contractor complaint on them because they screwed up an install and refused to fix it I have a sign on both my doors saying no soliciting. This rep comes up, lies and says he's not selling anything, then proceeds to try to sell me on a monthly security system. Apparently these people don't understand what "NO SOLICITING" means Just more shady practices from a shady company
