Absolutely horrible, once you use them and after 4 yrs of service the system stopped working. The technician said the unit was out of date. I tried to cancel service. That was September. They keep billing me $145.00 a month and I keep calling them. Every month they say we are mailing you a code you will need to disconnect service. In 8 months I have not received 1 letter with a code. This place is a scam. If you try to cancel the service they just hang up on you.
For a company selling “safety”, they haven’t really done a good job making me feel safe. I’ve now had two different people show up. The first one had her information printed on the promotional, but the second one didn’t. Him and his buddy have shown up twice now, both times on a Friday. First time was after dark, which I didn’t answer because it was two strange men at night, and the second time was around 4 pm which this time I answered. ADT IS TRASH!!! Tried transferring locations and they lied about everything! Set up things I didn’t ask for and tried to make me pay for it. When I said I wasn’t paying and didn’t ask they hang up. Called back and asked for a supervisor and they said no supervisors are available! Don’t use or trust them! Save your money!!!
This is the most nefarious company that I have dealt with. For starters, the equipment and services that we pay for have not been active for more than 4 months. We were never notified that the equipment and services were disconnected so we had to find out after an incident and they will not reactivate the equipment and services unless we pay an extra $40 on top of the $60 that we have been paying every month that the equipment and services have been inactive.
