Called to move services to new house and they wanted to charge me to take it down. Then no one called me back after waiting 3 days I called them back! Terrible!! Then to charge to change locations is ridiculous considering the price you already pay for the equipment..customer service was terrible..no one really cared to help.!!Then the last representative I talked to hung up on me!! Just ridiculous!!! Will be changing my home security.I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
I have ADT at a couple of my propertis, and my rep Brad is hands down the man when it comes to knowing the product and customer service. Always a pleasure speaking with him, and I hope ADT realizes what an asset he is to their company! Felt as if i should take it from a 5 star down to a 2 star. Billing can't get their stuff right after numerous calls with them letting them know we are moving out of our cabin and to disconnect service. They never did and kept billing us. ADT took three payments out of our bank account in one month. When we called to talk to them about it they said they didn’t know why and don’t see any transactions on their end yet all three transactions came from ADT. They pretty much made their problem our problem and told us to take it up with the bank. A huge inconvenience for us and we had to close out our card and wait for a new one because of their incompetence. Thanks ADT for your great service! BUYER BEWARE!!l I was told I was due for an upgrade. When they installed, they left holes in my walls, did not wire the google nest camera, left the box with wiring wide open and key in it, only secured 1 of 4 doors, and at the end of workday told me that was because I had only been allowed 5 sensors with upgrade when previously had 12.... Originally I had told them I was willing to upgrade equipment if home was as secure as before for which I was told that would not be a problem. Our basement flooded between July 13-15th, 2024 while we were out of town. I currently pay for an ADT system that includes a water sensor in my basement. The water sensor failed to go off, and the water in our basement was not discovered until the person checking in on our cat discovered it. I contacted ADT customer service on July 19th when we returned, and explained to them what happened, and that the water sensor not going off was unacceptable, and resulted in thousands of dollars in damage in our basement.
