This company is very disappointing. We have their ring doorbell and it stopped working and doesn’t take a charge. My wife called them and they said it would be $179 for a replacement. I do not understand why we still have to pay for a replacement when we have been paying for their service monthly for years and paid for a replacement many times over. We will be looking for another service.
The worst
Larry Green is extremely unprofessional. He came out for a consultation, and when I told him I had to think about it and would call him Monday, he started getting angry and aggressive saying I wasted his time and made him drive 2 hours (I just scheduled an appointment online, so I'm not sure how I made him do anything). He then mocked me for saying that I had to discuss things with my wife and that I was a "grown man" who should be able to decide a purchase by myself. ADT certainly won't be our choice now.
Update 2nd BAD review New Castle County DE ADT Branch. June 2025 - Signed a new contract with ADT to have free panel. ADT sent Rocky out again and again, it was a bad install. Rocky decided that he didn't want to put a new panel in and repopulate all my sensors. He called someone in ADT, cancelled my contract, reinstated my old contract. He did this so that the new panel would automatically populate with all my sensors and he didn't have to reprogram them. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE THEY DON'T WARRANTY ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS EVEN WHEN THEY'RE STILL BEING PAID FOR IF YOU GET THE EXTRA MAINTENANCE FOR IT THEY STILL CHARGE YOU A TRIP FEE I'VE HAD THIS SERVICE FOR 5 YEARS AND I HAVE A CAMERA DOWN TWO SMOKE ALARMS DOWN AND ALMOST EVERY SINGLE MOTION DETECTOR NEEDS A BATTERY AND THEY WANT ALL KINDS OF MONEY TO COME OUT AND FIX IT AND THE EQUIPMENT ISN'T EVEN PAID FOR YET ASK TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR FOR THE PAST 6 MONTHS NOT ONE HAS CALLED ME BACK I HAVE TICKETS THAT SAY I'M SUPPOSED TO... read more
