If I could give zero stars- Stay far, far away from this business. I installed ADT Security products in an apartment I lived from January-May 2022. Their cameras seemed cheap from the start and the app was terrible, regularly crashing. I doubt I actually had any security during that time. When I moved out of the apartment, I cancelled the service. That process alone was a nightmare- the instructions on their website require you to call to cancel your service, but the phone number leads to a mailbox that no one returns calls ... read more
Avoid at all costs. Renewing 36 month contracts every time we add something to a do. Inconsistent pricing and quotes. Everytime you call, they shuffle you to 4-5 different people and departments only to ultimately not solve your problem. It's like they don't communicate with each other. No notes taken on customer files. Tech comes out, has no idea why they are there. Trying to get API access for our Brivo has been a month long ordeal. Terrible company. Cancelation policy is nonsense. Wish knew better years ago.
So disappointed with ADT cameras failing after only 5 yrs‼️ Should have invested in Simply Safe as told to me by a detective who warned me too late about ADT …over $4000+ wasted😡 Police personally use Simply Safe.
They will keep you hostage and won’t let you leave, even when your contract expires. I called multiple times to close the account and they never did it. They keep harassing me and calling me with new offers, not listening and completely ignoring my requests to close the account. Bunch of crooks. System displays a “cellular failure “ multiple times a day, issue was addressed and technician came, nothing got fixed. I’m paying for a system I can’t use.
