Of course ADT is a top tier security company, but I had to cancel my service after ten years. Back in the day if I needed something I could call and get help right away. Now it’s a nightmare. Endless menu options, then you get stuck with an AI bot or your call goes to an Indian call center where there’s a 50/50 chance of helpful communication. Ironically, I had to two to three different people before I could get cancelled.
I was supposed to have a free installation that costed me a fortune. They charged me for so of this without ever telling me you need a permit. They sent me a second notice without ever giving me a first notice and made it impossible to upload the data. Spent a ton of time on hold with them to try and fix this. Would never recommend this company to anyone.
Have been a customer for 4 years now 3 of which have not had any service. We moved and had to wait to cancel contract. Just spoke to 6 different people calling 3 different numbers trying to cancel……. Finally got the last lady and she said I needed to speak with someone at a 4th number but they are now closed Man I can not wait to see how many people have the please with speaking with me tomorrow to try and cancel this useless account. Will reply tomorrow with another 1 star review and an update.
If I could give this company a 0 star rating I would. We have had nothing but issues with this company since we switched to them. Mostly billing issues. Their billing department is so incompetent, and can’t even do simple math. I hate that I’m stuck in this God awful contract. ADT Y’ALL ARE PATHETIC.
It's a scam. You own the equipment. They turn off its functionality without the subscription. The subscription does nothing.
