This company is disgusting. They made it impossible to cancel our contract after our house flooded and we didn’t even live there anymore. They then continued charging us and when I refused to pay they sent us to collections for their bogus charges. Run fast, run far, run now.
As a follow up to my previous post below. I reached out ADT Corporate and was given exactly the same answer as what I was told by the local manager. That any relocation of ADT services will require a new 3 year contract to be signed. (See screenshot of email from Corporate) So ADT as a company has knowingly chosen to profit from the misfortune of those who have flooded, uninhabitable homes by forcing them into longer contracts if the original home could not sustain service at the original address. ADT Customer Alert: My Experience After 7+ Years I was a loyal ADT customer for over 7 years. I completed my initial 3-year contract, and based on the salesman's promise—"Once your contract ends, you're month-to-month, and can cancel anytime without penalty"—I stayed on for 4 more years.
