DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH SMART HOME SECURITY!! I have been waiting 2 months to get my cameras installed but all I get are canceled appointments and excuse on top of excuse. Now after my 4th failed installation appointment I can't even get someone to answer the phone. And I have no idea how to get out of the contract because no one will answer the phone. Just contact ADT directly if you want a security system through them.
I signed up for ADT in June of this year. The initial payments (2) was made to my CC while the technician was still installing the system. The monthly payments was suppose to be $97, it has not been. It’s been $101.?? a month. Shortly after installation ADT tried to charge my card $400 plus. Good thing I keep my card locked. When I called they said it was a charge from 2017. I have had the worst experience with this company, I'm a 73 year old woman. I live alone . So , I felt the need for this security. I have had nothing but trouble. I feel I have been taken advantage of from this company. My nerves are being affected by these cameras going off constantly.
