I had used ADT for many years through several military and personal moves. While the products are good quality (though overpriced) and the service was above average; the cancellation process proved to be overly complicated with red tape. After cancellation from one address I was continually charged for the account. Once identified it took over 30 days to have the charges stopped, and after over 4 months I still have not received the promised refund. Trust the reviews. I wish I had. ADT has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Not only did our technician take 9 HOURS to install everything - when we cancelled, which they only give you 3 days to do, they got upset about it and were basically insulting me to my husband. I was the primary on the account so any and all calls should’ve gone to me but Forrest went straight to my husband and never called me.
