I switched to Alder years ago because ADT was ripping us off. Now alder has been sold ADT and I am back in the same shoes. A brand new smoke detector that was issued by Alder went out and I have been waiting on a replacement. I called the other day and they are telling me that I have to buy another even though I have the email from alder rep saying that the replacement was on back order. DO NOT USE THEM:::JUST BUY CAMERQS AND A SYSTEM THAT RUNS OFF OF WiFi. I was at first lied to about my contract terms, and then told if I moved my service to a self start up system with a new contract that the new contract would cancel out the old one with no penalties and only be for one year of service as long as i paid for the equipment. ADT made a mistake with the new system by putting the billing address as my monitoring address. I have now made 26 attempts to get the address resolved for over 2 months. I would not recommend ADT services to anyone. I see why everyone on my street is leaving ADT, they ar liars deceitful and rude. They tell you one price, then when you call back they tell you something else. Sheniqka account manager was rude put me on hold for 5 minutes cause I didn't answer her questions and Supervisor Felix was no help I will never use there alarm services again. I cancelled and was told it services would not be turned off until October 23, the are full of crap!!
I recently had ADT security installed at my home in Royal. Unfortunately, there was an accident during the install. A ladder went thru a porch screen. The ADT tech, indicated that he was submitted a claim and that the screen would be repaired. I have called ADT 3x trying to get this resolved. I have not received a return call, nor an update on my issue. Sad to see a relationship ruined over their failure to resolve this issue.
