I am having technical problems with some of my cameras, they go off then on, multiple times a day. My main issue is a doorbell camera that I need to swap out for one that records continuously when motion is detected. They are refusing to swap it out. They want more money. I have been ADT customer for 15 years. They are the one who installed all the products including cameras, locks and door bell. Few cameras, locks and door bell stopped working but apparently they cannot service or replace these as ADT has changed the brands they are using. When I asked to cancel my subscription… they put me on hold after 15 minutes I was told there will be additional 20 minutes of hold or call back again. ADT is still stealing money from me. I've been calling to cancel the account for weeks (the app doesn't work to set the alarm, and the alarm goes off at random), and the scheme they run is that they always say something to the tune of "I can't help you, but I'll have someone who can call you back". They never call, and they refuse to give me a direct number to the branch office. I'm afraid we will need to go to court. We have used ADT for many years. We recently moved and can't carry their service to our new home because neighborhood has HOA with alarm services in place. I cancelled on January 10th and was paid up at that time. Since then we have been hounded by phone calls, emails, postal mail about paying bill with warning of turning off services and we are overdue in payments. I have had this service for approximately 4 years which after installation was excellent but has been steadily declining. The tech support and customer service is on a downward slide. I have had failure with equipment and alarms that have been ignored not even a phone call . Most of customer service reps are not very helpful including tech support.
