My elderly father tried to cancel his account after the passing of my Mother. ADT made it very difficult to cancel the service and transferred him to 5 different agents. Then they tried to push rewards on him to stay. It took 51 mins for a 82 yr old man to cancel his service. NEVER let your family use ADT
I feel so scammed I had a door to door salesman that came and was not taking no for an answer he even offered to pay my first bill because there was no reason not to get adt he signed everything up on my phone and just told me where to sign he told me about the referral system but you know what he left out was the huge cancellation fee for when you don’t want it anymore or doesn’t matter if it’s only been a month but you’re going to get charged $600 to cancel he left that fine detail out of it and skipped over the fine print... read more
