They tricked me into buying this shit, I was told it was part of the deal , next thing you know 3 years later and I can’t find a soul that speaks English , or cancel my contract. Everything is paid in full, they’ve double charged me. Nightmare, go with a different company.
I ordered the ADT Equipment, but decided I don’t need it, and sent the equipment back to them. It has been weeks, I got no refund from them. I also read the ratings for ADT. I wish I had read the ratings before I ordered that equipment.
The house I purchased had an existing ADT system. ADT said I could keep it and just pay for monthly monitoring, adding that a tech would be required to come out and switch it to my name. Long story short, the tech replaced the system, and unbeknownst to me at the time, added other items, not original to the existing service. The tech told me it was common to upgrade systems and that I wouldn’t be charged, but two weeks later I received a bill for $3,000.
