When I signed up for ADT in 2022, I was told that the cameras I was purchasing would be able to be removed when I sold my home in the future and transferred to the next house. Fast forward to early 2025 when I was selling my home, I called ADT and inquired about having the cameras removed so I could take them with me and they told me that wouldn’t be possible because the cameras are wired into the house. Horrible company. If you think your rep is doing something nice to help? Don’t fall for it. It’s not true. It’s a scam or a hustle. CANCEL MY SERVICE!!!!!!!! They won’t I’ve been trying for months now
Update 12/1/22...Our panel died. They sent out a tech. He fixed it. I got charged $63 for them to fix their own equipment!! Tech also told me we were being overcharged. I thought $75/mo was outrageous and i was right. Avoid this company at all costs. Stuck in a 3 year contract with horrible service. For the 1st year, you deal with Safe Haven. You hold for at least 10 minutes each time you call. When someone does come out, they quick fix it, tell their office it's working and leave. It never works properly. It took 11 months ... read more
