I highly recommend you do not sign up with this company. I signed up and had their service for two and a half years. I turned my home into a rental and had ADT swap services over to the new tenants and cancel my account. However, they are still charging my credit card along with the my tenant's card. I have called them three times and each time have been told they are not charging my card and my account has been deleted. Trash company. I use adt system over 8 years and when I cancel my plan, adt still charges me $540 for cancellation fee. Cuz they say I signed for contract, but they never explain the cancellation fee. Also they didn’t send me the email for contract too. Do not use this scammer company!
I have been manipulated, lied to and told incorrect information from ADT several times in the last 3 weeks. They owed me a refund for an incorrect charge. Was told that the funds were going to be reissued to my account within 3-5 business days, then when that didn't happen. I was with Protection 1 and now it is ADT. I originally called to cancel my services, but I was talked into doing a contract with a really good price and would replace the current bill. They are billing me for the previous as well as the new bill. I have called for the past 3 months. Spoken with dozens of people, and they all say it will be fixed. It isn't.
