I have been manipulated, lied to and told incorrect information from ADT several times in the last 3 weeks. They owed me a refund for an incorrect charge. Was told that the funds were going to be reissued to my account within 3-5 business days, then when that didn't happen. I had to call them, argue with customer service that they'd charged me additional service fees AND never returned my refund. Which they confirmed was not returned, due to a mistake on their end. I was with Protection 1 and now it is ADT. I originally called to cancel my services, but I was talked into doing a contract with a really good price and would replace the current bill. They are billing me for the previous as well as the new bill. I have called for the past 3 months. Spoken with dozens of people, and they all say it will be fixed. It isn't. I’ve never experienced worse customer service or poorer product quality and give that this is an alarm company that is suppose to be there in times of emergency it is simply unacceptable. I could never recommend this company. They have outsourced everything. It’s takes a minimum of 20 min to get someone on the phone and each time speak with someone they are completely unaware of prior issues. All the smoke detectors are defective. Despite having a no soliciting sign, clear indications have already having security, and them already having come by, they came by for the third time this week. I directed them to the sign and they acted like they were not soliciting. Solid gaslighting tactic I guess. Can’t speak for their security, but I certainly will never be using their services.
This has to be the worst security system i have ever had..every time the electricity goes out I have to register everything again..you call support and you will wait for hours. Total crap system go with anyone else. I am canceling my account today
