I’ve never been more annoyed with a service I don’t even use than I am with ADT. Our house we moved into 4 1/2 years ago has an ADT alarm system hooked up. We don’t use it, but the previous owners did. Well the stupid main board deal that’s in our room has on and off dinged and told me every time we open a door in the house. I’ve called reps and they’ve told me how to turn it off, for it to only do its insanely loud alarm in the house every 6ish months, or whenever there is a power surge. Do not get this security system. They couldn’t get my number correct so the system never called us when the alarm went off. The cops came and we had to pay them for coming out. Our cameras wouldn’t connect to the WiFi and they refused to come out and fix it. We used to love ADT but it is not dependable and that’s not ok with a security system. Don’t sign a contract. We had to PAY to get out of ours- even though they admitted it was their fault none of our equipment worked correctly. Sad day.
