I've had ADT for 3 months and only worked half of the time. I've called for help many times. I've asked for help with someone coming to help me finish up with installing the last 2 cameras. Asked for a local company here in Owensboro,ky they start telling me how to self install it. They don't even have Me listed as a Customer!
We have had a horrible experience with ADT, so far. We originally had our system installed and the original installer told us that our chime would not work with a video doorbell and referred us to a different chime on Amazon to order and install. We were told once we did that we could then have a video doorbell. We paid nearly $300 to get the chime and have an electrician come wire it. We have had nothing but trouble with our ADT cameras. They stop working randomly and we have an error message until someone can come out to work on them. We were told that it was our Internet speed. We’ve since gotten fiber internet and still having trouble. Our contract is now up and we’re dropping ADT!
Door to door ADT salesman came to my house and laughed at me because I "forgot" how the previous owners talked about how I had to let ADT know if I wanted to "keep" their equipment when I closed on the house. I wasnt even at closing. When security companies try to scam you, you know times must be tough.
Was looking into other security companies because I was dissatisfied with my bill and old equipment. The upgrade offers over the phone were not attractive at all. Spoke with Zach at ADT about this and he came up with solutions to keep me as a customer. The techs that came out, Dalton and Brandon, gave the service and attention to detail that was needed too!
