Extremely disappointing experience with ADT. I tried to cancel my service after my contract ended but was told I owed a roughly $500 cancellation fee due to a verbal loyalty agreement I never saw in writing. The customer service felt more like a scare tactic than genuine support—pressuring me to stay without clear documentation. I’ve had to formally dispute the charge and file a complaint with the BBB. Transparency and fairness should be a priority, especially for long-time customers.
DO NOT PURCHASE ADT!!! IT HAS BEEN horrible since I've been with them. I will put a review anywhere I see ADT. They are charging me double for ONE camera I dont have. And they keep playing with my time to install one. I hate that I chose ADT. Highway robbery!!!
Please stop coming to my house in Jeffersonville Indiana. and parking in my driveway. There is NO soliciting here and you cannot park in my driveway. You are trespassing. Yet you keep coming to my door! No means No. We are not interested!!!!!
I hate this service. It never functioned correctly. They refuse to remove it from my home. And I’m required hold onto the base service to get help getting the specific batteries that you can only get from ADT to keep this god-forsaken alarm system from beeping. Highly inconvenient customer service, takes forever to get issues resolved.
It’s truly sad when you sign a paper and thinking you’re signing a year contract turning out it’s a five-year contract. $90 a month save yourself a lot of time and frustration. Just get a chime not to mention every time the alarm goes off nothing is done. We set The alarm off on purpose, one time and 30 minutes later yeah 30 minutes someone from ADT called What if we had a gun to our head?
