They lie and lock you in a contract that after saying there is no contract. Then they tell you all you need to do to is pay the equipment off and you will be free of any other charges. Then start charging your for monitoring even though the equipment is not even set up on the home or attached still in the original boxes. So what are you monitoring exactly? I would not recommend ADT. I’ve been with them for two days and my experience has been terrible! Their customer service is garbage and a waste of time. It is pretty clear the company is poorly ran from the top down. Save yourself the headache and go with a competitor. There’s no way customer service can get any worse. This company clearly does not care about customer satisfaction once they’ve got you locked into a 3 year contract. The absolute worst company, I ordered the system where someone comes out and installs it for me, verifiedwith the sales man that someone would be out to install the system...that is not what happened. They sent me the DIY system instead, ok fine....it suddenly stopped working. Spent hours on the phone trying to get help, transferred over and over and over to various different departments waiting on hold for hrs and still couldn't get help. ADT Security is a New Melle Chamber member.
My MIL has had their service for over 15 years. She is having issues with the system and they refuse to send out a technician or pay for any replacement or repairs. Do not use this company!!
