It has now been 2 months I have called back in several times to ADT to fix a problem that everyone is aware of that my system does. Not connect to the server.. They have replaced the cameras five times!!! It still isn't connecting! This issue has been ongoing for over 3 years! Their "upgrade" turned out to be a big downgrade. More expensive system, way more maintenence (that costs a lot by the way!) And my new customer warranty lost all the actual perks of the previous contract but they conveniently left that all out. It went from $25 per home call to 60$ just to have them come out. I changed internet providers which disconnected my cameras and they told me it would be 130$+60$ just to have them reconnected even though tech support wasnt able to do it over the phone as they should have been able t... read more
I would give negative stars if I could but Google will not let me! ADT is the worst! Do yourself a huge favor! Do not do business with them. If you are locked in one of there contracts then document everything while trying to get out!
DO NOT USE ADT! They are crooked and complete scammers. Their technician FRAUDULENTLY signed my name to their ridiculous contract that supposedly states they can charge $2,500 for a cancellation fee. I signed no such contract, and when I looked at this alleged contract, I saw that it was not my signature. It's not even my name - let alone my signature (I've attached a screenshot for your reference). ADT is seriously the worse! They took multiple payments off my card that were not authorized and then refused to give me a refund and just wanted it to stay on my account to pay for future services... Vivant is the way to go for security system!
