I have been a client with ADT since 2013, but their latest equipment update and complete lack of customer support have forced me to write this review. Because they disabled landline support, they forced me to upgrade to a new Wi-Fi system, which was installed on September 5, 2026. Less than a month later, the system has completely failed. Was a customer for over 6 years. Each representative gives you different information. They say they will call you back to check in and they don’t. I cancelled my service and kept getting charged even tho I called 3 times and 3 different reps verified the service was going to be cancelled. And it doesn’t. When moving I was told to keep the service this way I don’t have to start a new contract, that was a lie. Worse company evern can never get in hold of a person when it comes to assistance or issues with the system
ADT continued to charge us after we let them know the security system was down and broken. The tech visit, which was supposed to be free, was also charged for, and they are now refusing a refund. Horrible customer service and business practice of charging for services not rendered. Do not recommend.
They worst company out there had them for 4 years nothing but issues. They couldn’t even fix anything. Plus if a technician comes out they want to charge you do not recommend them at all. Waste of time and money I am still stuck paying for nothing I can use.
