Horrible customer service. They make it soooo difficult to cancel services. Alarm doesn’t work. Beware
I would never recommend ADT to anyone. My experience with their alarm and security camera system has been an absolute nightmare. From the beginning, the equipment had constant problems. The batteries kept dying, the cameras continuously went offline, and the system was unreliable. For a company that sells “security” and “peace of mind,” their equipment caused nothing but stress. After having the system for over 6yrs, the system started displaying issues. The tech informed me that I should the new system, which I asked and confirmed that my current equipment would still work. After the install he then informed me that they wouldn’t work and should replace them. After several conversations all ADT wanted was to sell me thier new equipment, I ended up canceling my service and was out over $2000.00. Thanks ADT what great service you provide!!!
We needed security around our house due to high crime rate. We were contacted by a Adt. Representative and was impressed by what he said this company can provide in security products. We agreed to this, and was promised 3 cameras and a monitor system all were to be installed ASAP. Now this never happened. Former ADT home. ADT logo wearing "reps" not controlled by ADT solicit weekly regardless of calls to ADT to stop. Do not buy a home previously "protected" by ADT if you value your privacy!
