My ADT door camera stopped working properly weeks ago, and ADT has been no help at all. I’ve called several times, waited on hold, and kept getting automated prompts over and over…. Now I’m being told I need to hire an electrician on my own to fix wiring for a system I’m already paying ADT for. It’s going to cost me hundreds of dollars out of pocket, and they take no responsibility. UPDATE: ADT's solution was to pass the buck to their chosen authorized dealer (aka sub contractor) I was told I would pay $0 for my equipment, then I was told after they started the work that it was not $0 it was $3659 (this after the power is cut my existing system removed which in turned knocked out my HVAC, granted I got a few upgrades that I kept saying I did NOT want or need, and in the end they charged me $5,536.18 and my HVAC system died when they cut the power to the Guardian panel. Do not believe a word these sales people try to scam you into! The system they will install is expensive junk! This is why they lock you into a long contract because once they do you are just another number and they will take as much money from you as they can and barely give you anything in return. Corporate cares as little as the local people. Don’t waste your money with ADT! Go with any other security system out there!
THIS COMPANY IS A COMPLETE DISASTER. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR HOME. THEY ARE NOT HONEST AND THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. Please never a ever use this company. There is not honesty and they want you to buy a large amount of stuff that you don't really need. Plus their services is horrible.
