Came to my home unannounced saying we had an appointment. Obviously tried to use fear tactics on a very pregnant woman under the guise of “wanting to protect us”. They will clearly do anything to get your business even if unethical.
The equipment is always malfunctioning. Even after I canceled their services, they are still trying to Bill me.
Hasn't even been a month and their equipment is malfunctioning. Their "virtual technicians" don't know what they're talking about. If your issue is not solved by the script they read off of, they don't know how to handle the problem. The alternative? They charge $100 to get an actual technician out to your property at a minimum. If you need your equipment replaced, it will be more $$$ than the initial $100. Avoid ADT at all costs. Shop around!
Horrible experience. My sales reps is named Rob based out of South Jersey. Somebody stole my Honda tires in front of my home. I reached out to ADT because I have a business account with them, so I wanted to add home security in lieu of this situation. They happily took my money and promised me a certain system. When they came to install, it was supposedly a cheap “do it yourself” system, quoted on the tech’s words. It’s called ADT+. It’s basically a RING or BLINK simple camera.
