My review is in regard to their phone customer service. It is horrible. I've been a customer for several years and while the equipment and service is adequate and works fine, if you ever have a billing issue or any kind of question regarding your account, be prepared to be on hold for a LONG time and then once you get a live person, you will get switched over to ast least 4 other people. Left what appears to be exposed wiring outdoors, damaged my siding and fascia leaving the house open to water intrusion, manipulated costs, damaged pre-existing equipment and threw some away (some retrieved but with cut wires, sensors in trash), told would be done within a couple hours but took 15, refused to reschedule (cited this "deal" is for right now only), and finally the work order signature under my name was not made by me. I had a really frustrating experience with ADT, specifically with a salesperson named Dave Beatty. When Dave first came to my house, he was exactly what you’d expect from a salesperson—friendly, personable, and easy to get along with. We had a great conversation, and he made the whole process feel smooth and trustworthy. He made several promises to get me to sign, including free items, account credits, and additional equipment. worst company to deal with. customer service is absolutely the worst. I was promised $38.99 per month and got billed $56 every month the customer rep Thomas tells me the problem will be fixed and it never is. Very poor and I would recommend going with a local guy instead of this big company.
