Indeed. Do your research! &research I did not. Assuming ADT to be a reputable company was one of my worst mistakes of 2024. Costing me a week of work, taking off to appease the schedule of the technicians who continually, NO CALL NO SHOW - when I tried to figure out what happened... i was told they had no way to leave a message, and their technician was sick. Or, scheduling a 5hr window just to AGAIN take off work & this time receiving a call minutes prior to the scheduled end time (4PM) to be told they were still planning t... read more
DO NOT USE!!!!!!! RESEARCH!!!!!! ADT is only interested in contract value! The “technicians” will only try to upsell or recruit you! They DO NOT act in good faith when each separate representative I speak with has contradictory answers and per contract the customer is forced to give adt three chances in six months to get it right. If only your tech had explained the contract and the true quality of ADT as a company. How do legal scams like this still exist?????
the customer service is from hell, very unpleasant
I'd rate them less if I could. The technicians have always been awesome. However after about 20 months into my 36 month contract the hardwired doorbell is acting up, saying the battery is critically low. Yes, you read that correctly, the hardwired doorbell is send out an"battery critically low message." I call ADT and they say all is well on our end and the doorbell will fix its self. Fast forward another 3 weeks and it's still acting up. I contact ADT and they want to charge me $59 for a service fee in order to send a techn... read more
