I don’t know if my experience is site-specific, but I can say with full confidence that it’s ADT-specific. Their customer service is, hands down, the worst I have ever encountered. They charged me a labor fee for a 12-minute visit — without ever disclosing it in advance. When I called to get clarification or a refund, the nightmare began: First rep: sounded drunk. ADT makes it impossible to cancel and will continue charging you even after they have removed the security hardware from your home. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ADT SERVICES!
Horrendous customer service, useless video techs. Always a hassle when I require parts or any kind of assistance. Wish I could switch but have their equipment. ADT management, you need to listen to your customers or maybe you need new management team.
Called with simple billing question to lower monthly bill. After being passed to 3 agents I was told it could be lowered in October but I needed to call back. You mean to tell me you cant just lower it in October ? Been a customer for over 7 years with numerous system issues. I will be calling back as soon as new system is installed, TO CANCEL. Do your Homework, Check reviews and STAY AWAY from ADT. ONE star review says it all.
