Before you sign up, be aware their system is trash. The cameras barely work—half the time I can't even view them online because I get constant errors. Their account management site looks like it's from 2003, slow and clunky and ridiculously outdated. Worst of all? They randomly charged my account $2,600 for no reason at all. Not sure which ADT in the world I am connected with, but I am in Massachusetts. I have been kicked out of my Alarm.com app. I call ATT number and they tell me that there’s a new telephone number to reach them at I call that telephone number and the customer service representative Clearly had no idea how to walk me through the steps or what to do and then set me up with an appointment for the next day to tech-support. Worst company ever. Charging me even though I never setup an account. Endless hours on pointless call with them. Major thumbs down.
the 5 star reviews are epic. at least 90% are manufactured or engineered internally. Coming from Manhattan and not knowing any better, i signed an agreement with ADT. It started with the 'install charge'- it was $1,100. Not an exaggeration, they installed not a single piece of equipment. They used the previous house owners system which was put in 8 years prior. Stay away from these crooks there criminals and need to be sued They completely lied from the beginning to the end and forged the contract. Stay away find a different security.
