I have been a customer for over 28 years. Over time, the customer service has been getting horrible. I get told I have to work on my own motion detector and try to trouble shoot it myself. They would send someone out but it will cost me over $400 to do so. My hands have severe arthritis in them and have issues with handling items. I've had this service for 5 years. Not because I wanted to but because they keep telling me I have to stay stay with them or they are penalties. The first 2 years was decent. Then I asked for an addition outdoor camera. I was told they no longer provide wired cameras and I had to upgrade to the Google nest wireless outdoor cameras if I wanted an additional camera. Just don't do it
.....ADT continues to be the absolute worst when it comes to security systems and customer support. Thankfully, our contract is fulfilled and after today's frustrating and drawn-out conversation regarding our cameras, we're officially starting the process of ending our relationship with them. If you're considering ADT, please take time to read the reviews before signing a contract!
