SCAMMERS!! Our service was ended April but then they repeatedly charged. Their customer service is no better and a complete waste of time!
Easily the worst customer service I've ever encountered. I've been trying to get a replacement lawn sign - which shouldn't be complicated - for the last 4 months, and they can't even seem to figure that out. I've been charged 3 times ($30 each time) for signage which I was assured would be free - signage which has never actually arrived (nor which they've even bothered to order, it appears), despite contacting Telus repeatedly. Horrible, horrible customer service. Trying to get system changes and they keep telling me some one will call back. We are still awaiting. That was a week ago and four phones ago and we are a commercial account. Waiting to have a call picked up is about 7-10 minutes everytime. Jan 2025 Update: Again tried to get changes to account. After 20 minutes on hold I gave up.
Moved into a house that had an ADT alarm system installed. Started beeping and called to try to solve the problem. They told me I had to either disconnect the alarm and keep it off or buy a new system. When I asked if it could be something as simple as a battery replacement they said they don't know. When I asked if they would remove the old system if I decided to purchase and install a new system, they said they would not and the old system is "not their problem" and I have to disconnect all the wiring etc myself because it... read more
Brinks home security was going door to door, with a two year contract deal. The two gentlemen were dressed with a Brinks logo jacket and sporting a lanyard with the Brinks logo and their name. We listened to their speech and signed up. A few days later we were all hooked up, all in all we were pleased…fast forward two years and EVERYTHING CHANGED..including the carrier in charge of our home security.
