Dr Blessing is amazing and truly cares for her patients. My entire family, wife and two young children, have seen Dr Blessing for over 9 years and she is amazing. Most recently, I was having chest pain, and drove myself to the ER. The ER ran some tests and release me 6 hours later with undetermined chest pain. I happen to have my 6-month check up appointment with Dr Blessing the following morning, and upon arrival I was in pretty severe pain. Given an appointment date 6 months out after my previous PCP left Houston Methodist and retired. 2 weeks before my schedule appointment they sent me a message informing me that the appointment had been cancelled and that the next available appointment wasn’t for another 7 months. Go somewhere that prioritizes your health, not here…
My review is not directly towards her, it’s towards her staff and management team. I had a transfer of care which took 2 months to get in… no big deal, I understood. On the day of the appointment, about 1 hour prior to my arrival time they call me to cancel saying she was out sick, again…shit happens, I understood. I call back to re-schedule and they give me an appt option of 2 months out with no leniency. Saw Dr Blessing today for annual physical and she spends a great deal of time with you as a patient and clearly cares about your exam and you lab results going over everything with you in detail. She is a great doctor.
